Leadership

The church leadership structure is based on plurality of Eldership where each individual elder has specific areas of responsibility. There is a further level of support for the leadership through an Operational team on the East and a Ministry team on the West.

    Stephen Kenny is the pastoral elder responsible for the GCF congregation in the west of Galway city. He and his wife Karen came to Galway in 1995 to work in Christian children’s and youth ministry. In 2005 Stephen joined the pastoral staff of the church. He has led the GCF West congregation meeting in Knocknacarra since its inception in March 2006. Stephen & Karen have four children. He is a keen musician and gardener.
