Peter Burrows
Pastoral Elder - East
Peter Burrows has been the Pastoral Elder of the GCF East congregation in Ballybrit since July 2008. Peter pastored three churches in South Africa before God led him and his wife Sandy to Ireland in 2007. He holds an LTH and an MTh degree. Peter and Sandy have been in full time pastoral ministry since 1995. They have been married for forty five years and have one son and two lovely grandchildren.
Peter has an interest in aviation, likes reading, doing crossword puzzles and has recently started learning to play the cornet and read music. Both he and Sandy enjoy taking walks beside the ocean and travelling around the lovely island of Ireland.
Someone once said that the local church is the hope of the world. Peter and Sandy believe that. They both have a heart to see healthy churches developed in which believers can grow in their relationship with God and with one another so that the local community, our city and our country can be reached with the hope of the Gospel.
