Elder
Sean Doheny is an elder with primary responsibility for youth work.
He moved to Galway in 1991 and is a test engineer by profession. He is married to Helen and they have four children.
When Jesus told a dying criminal that "today you will be with me in paradise", He left the world with an extraordinary message - that no individual and no situation is beyond hope or redemption.
That message is as vital and as relevant today as it was then. Any day which gives us the opportunity to convey or deliver this hope in some small way to someone who needs it is a day well spent
